Thank You Las Vegas

Just a quick post to say THANK YOU to all of the Las Vegas community (and beyond) for the letters, emails, texts, phone calls, facebook messages, and tweets. I have read them all, and they make me realize why I love this town so much. Wonderful people. Talented people. Caring people.

Viva Las Vegas!! 🙂

To be continued…….

  1. I miss you on the morning news. You and Dave McCann always made me laugh sometime during the broadcast. You were great together. I will have to try other news shows now. I wish you the best. You will be greatly missed. 🙁

    1. Dayna, hard to believe your not there at 4:00 AM with Dave. Of course we will never know why the executives make the decisions they do. In any case I have moved on to another channel, one that I watch when you and Dave are on vacation. Just can’t tolerate people that move here then complain about the HOT or cold weather, think they are funny, talk about their likes and dislikes instead of what we want, NEWS. Can’t agree more with Rufus Perry’s comment and will be watching for you. Could be a HUGE carrier move and loss for ch. 8.

  2. All of your fans at Metro Pizza can’t wait to see what you do next. You are the best. Thank you for being a loyal custome,r supporter of local business, and a great asset to our community.- John, the pizza guy

  3. Dayna, we want to thank you for remaining professional during this obviously stressful time for you. Your many viewers, fans, friends, and others did the only thing we could do, which was to voice our disappointment and objection to Channel 8’s decision to part ways with their best community representative. I know one thing for sure….that is, when a door closes, another door opens!! Your opportunity to step through that new door is coming! I am sure of that! We really miss you and look forward to the coming days when we hear that you have moved on to bigger and better things!

  4. Dayna,

Now I have a reason to not watch that channel anymore! They made a terrible mistake letting you go. I’m sad! Keep positive and good things will happen. My thoughts are with you!

  5. Hi Dayna. You and Dave were an important part of my mornings before heading off to work at Metro. I hope to see you on another program soon. Let us now where you land and I’m sure your fans will follow. Good luck in all your endeavors.
