Frankie Moreno Releases Self Titled Album

As I type, I listen to Frankie Moreno’s new album. Some of the greats, re-recorded, some new. Moreno had his CD release party and show at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino Wednesday night. This album has been in the works for about 8 months. Hard work and dedication. He says he’s proud of it. Really proud.

I’ve watched Frankie grow. You almost feel a part of it, because you see, hear, and know the passion he and his entire family have for the show and their music careers. On stage Wednesday, Las Vegas Sun writer John Katsilometes (who traveled to Vienna & Italy with the Moreno brothers to watch them write songs and create music), Frankie Moreno, Tony Moreno and Ricky Moreno sat in chairs and described to the audience where their new songs came from. They even showed video clips from their travels around the world, their inspiration. I asked Frankie what his favorite song on the new album is… he said “Never Mine.” Song number 11, it was a last minute addition, but he loves it.

I just listened, and I officially love it too.

Frankie brings a boyish energy to the stage. He’s so talented. The entire band is a joy to watch and listen to. You can tell they all love what they are doing. If you get the chance to meet them, you’ll realize they are all really nice too. Great people! You have to have a team to make something work. They are a team. It works.

During last night’s show, I can’t tell you how many times the guy behind me yelled, “FRANKIE!!!”

Frankie is definitely someone you can’t help but cheer on. He will go far. In fact, on October 9th he’ll be singing his popular song, “Tangerine Honey” on national TV. He’s performing on Dancing With The Stars.

Frankie Moreno & Dayna Roselli (signed copy in hand!)

I’m thrilled to say I have my signed copy of Frankie’s new album! It’s fantastic. The sound is different than his past albums and you can feel the emotion in every song. It’s available on iTunes already, and you’ll be able to buy it everywhere. Give it a listen! Get to the Stratosphere too. I’ve never heard one person say they didn’t love the show. Chances are, you’ll most likely return. Ow!

Siegfried & Roy… Tap The Keg!

It’s always good to see Las Vegas legends, Siegfried and Roy, out and about. They were headliners on the strip for so long. Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn helped kick off Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus with the first celebrity keg tapping of the 2012 holiday season. Cheers!
