Raiding The Rock Vault IS Exactly That.

Talk about “Raiding The Rock Vault,” this show will take you back!! In a good way.

What a rocking time I had Monday night at the LVH Hotel and Casino. The hotel’s newest show, Raiding The Rock Vault, includes some amazing musicians.

Here’s the list:

Featuring legendary rockers including: Howard Leese [Guitar] (Heart, Bad Company), Tracii Guns [Guitar] (LA Guns, Guns n’ Roses), Robin McAuley [Lead Vocals] (MSG, Survivor), John Payne [Lead Vocals and Bass] (Asia), Paul Shortino [Vocals] (Rough Cutt, Quite Riot), Jay Schellen [Drums] (Badfinger, Asia), Andrew Freeman [Lead Vocals and Guitars] (Lynch Mob, The Offspring), and Michael T. Ross [Keyboards] (Lita Ford, Hardline).

I’m sure you recognize many of these bands and names.

The show takes you through the years, it includes actors that tell the story and introduce the songs. I liked it. The scenes were quick and to the point, which moved the show along. The stage is big and the theater is nice. There’s even a bar on the side if you want to get up and order a cocktail. It’s the first show of this kind I have seen in Las Vegas really. Everyone in the audience was rocking out, especially toward the end!! The songs are familiar and the performances are fantastic. The show is 2 hours. If you love ROCK, you will surely get your fill!

Everything Happens For A Reason. Right?

Everything happens for a reason. Or does it?

I hear it all the time, I say it too. I could use this phrase day in and day out.

My paths have crossed with people I am supposed to meet, things have changed, I have learned, I have “found” … I could go on and on.

Do we use it as a crutch for things that go bad? Do we use it so that we have hope?

Or does everything really happen for a reason.

Everything happens for a reason.
Everything happens for a reason.

It’s a matter of what you believe in. My Mom says we say it and believe it because usually we look back and find a “reason” that something didn’t work out, or something happened, and it all seems to make sense now.

I hold onto “moments.” I remember moments and how I felt or what was going through my mind. Sometimes when things fall together, I remember a moment and I think about how it affects today.

I have shared some of my stories, but I enjoy reading your stories too. What’s your story? What happened in your life that makes you look back now and say, “Ah, everything happens for a reason.”
