It’s September 1st! The month of the Virgo. Although the Virgo season started in late August… the September Virgo season kicks off today. I see there are a lot of fellow Virgos out there, because of the response I received on my Facebook.
Ah yes, the Virgo. It’s a very independent zodiac sign. We are fully able to put our intelligence to use and get things done for OURSELVES. We are organized and picky. We exist in the mind. We are loyal, devoted. We are old-fashioned. We love to help others. I could go on and on, but you get the point.
It’s a strong sign, and most Virgos I know… have all the traits. Our weakness is, we can be cold and fussy. Yup. If I work hard, the people around me better work hard too. Ha!
I like being a Virgo. I have all the traits. Maybe the one thing I dislike is over thinking. Making a decision about my life path and what I want takes time and thought. But, I also live in the moment. I plan day by day, but I don’t have some big picture of what I want and how I want it to be… I just know if I want to do it, I do it.
Oh, and the only person that will know I want it, is me.
Some don’t believe in signs or pay attention. I take note, and it helps me handle certain people in a certain way. I also know I do things because of my sign, and it makes me accept “my way,” because I feel like it’s out of my control.
I am definitely strong on the outside, independent, and know how to get things done. My mind works quick. Unfortunately, some people can’t handle that. For example even though many men say they want a strong woman, they don’t. They like to feel needed. It feeds their ego. It makes them feel more manly. And, well, that’s cool. That’s not me. I don’t need your money, your house, I don’t need you to take care of me. That’s how Virgos operate. However, the Virgo does NEED support and love. If we don’t get it. Don’t expect to be respected by us. That’s what we need. It’s simple.
We can handle our own stuff, just be there. It goes a long way.
There are a few people in my life that gain so much from our connection. I gain from them, they gain from me. We compliment each other. It all comes down to honest, open conversation, sharing ideas and creating big things. Or at least trying. If you don’t try, you don’t know. I have so much love for so many people in my life. They make me melt. I’m such a softie when I feel loved. Be there, I’ll be there in return. It’s such a beautiful relationship.
“Laughter is medicine” as one of my best friends always tells me. If you aren’t laughing every day, change your environment. If you are bored, inspire yourself to get out of whatever it is that is making you bored. Sometimes it’s not even changing the situation, it’s just an open honest conversation that can change everything. Some people just don’t like to go there. They run away, they do what they think is best… and end up sitting exactly where they were a few months ago. Doing the same things they did before. Maybe by themselves, or maybe with someone new. But, it’s the same.
Never settle. I’ve heard that over and over. Sometimes I need a kick in the pants to take that advice myself, because as a Virgo I give, I support, I love, and sometimes I feel what I provide is enough. Wrong! I need it reciprocated. I need and should have it all. I don’t need you for any of your “stuff” – but I need those three things in return.
We are all smart in different ways, use your smarts. If you are sad, let yourself be sad for a while, but make sure you find a way to laugh every now and then, and you will pull yourself out of it eventually. The people that surround you are very important. If they don’t move mountains for you, or at least take time and interest in what you are doing. Let them go. Let them go sooner than later, because you could get sucked in to believing it will come in time. It most likely will not.
Choose wisely. Don’t push anyone away that brings support and love into your world. You need them. Unconditional love isn’t that easy to find. If you have it, don’t let it go!!
These words all come from my Virgo heart! Enjoy your September, and remember, us Virgos may tell it like it is and handle things on our own… but we have big hearts and we’re here if you need us!
As always, thanks for following my site, posting on my Facebook, favoriting and sharing my tweets, and listening to me on the radio when you can. I love what I do and it wouldn’t be possible without all of you. Every single Zodiac sign, that is…. 😉
