This Sunday October 19th at 1 p.m. is the NF Hope Concert to benefit Neurofibromatosis.
The concert features performances by Clint Holmes, All 4 One, tap dancers Sean and John from Absinthe, Veronic, the cast of Jersey Boys, Rock Of Ages, and Million Dollar Quartet.
Jeff Leibow organizes the show each year. Jeff plays Nick Massi in the Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys. His daughter, Emma, is coping with NF. His mission has been to raise awareness and raise money.
Jeff joined us on the Las Vegas Morning news on KXNT. Here’s both parts of the interview. You can find out more about NF and the concert on its website.

Living in Las Vegas, we are pretty lucky when it comes to entertainment. The best of the best… and that for sure includes the hit show JERSEY BOYS.
The show celebrated its fifth anniversary in Las Vegas by presenting a star to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on the “Las Vegas Walk of Stars” outside of the show’s home, Paris Las Vegas. Original Four Seasons group members Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio were at the event to receive the commemorative star. It was the 64th star to be unveiled on Las Vegas Boulevard.
“It is a real honor to receive a star on the ‘Las Vegas Walk of Stars’ in celebration of the show’s fifth anniversary in this city,” says Frankie Valli. “Bob and I are thrilled to be here to accept the star and to celebrate this milestone with the talented cast.”
The Las Vegas JERSEY BOYS (Travis Cloer, Rob Marnell, Deven May, Jeff Leibow) performed at the ceremony for Frankie and Bob (watch a short clip that I took below.) Graham Fenton, who plays Frankie as well, was also at the event.
Valli and Gaudio later attended the fifth anniversary performance of JERSEY BOYS, joining the cast onstage for a special presentation after the show.
“JERSEY BOYS has been an incredible addition to Paris Las Vegas over the past year. We look forward to celebrating many more milestones with this award-winning production,” says David Hoenemeyer, regional president of Paris Las Vegas.
Here’s some big news for JERSEY BOYS fans: On the heels of the incredible success of JERSEY BOYS worldwide, GK FILMS is currently in development on the feature film adaptation of the JERSEY BOYS musical. Set to begin production at the end of 2013, the film will be produced by GK FILMS’ Graham King with Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio serving as executive producers.
